Fair Contract Now, 30$/Hour Starting Wage, End to Mandatory Overtime

It looks like a chilly day, but carriers in Minneapolis know how to prepare for snow and ice, coming prepared with hats, gloves, boots and work coats!

Carriers in Branch 34 in Boston showed out with super cool and creative homemade signs, rocking phrases like “Can’t Survive on Chump Change”, “Protect the Service, Pay Letter Carriers a Livable Wage”, and “NALC Contract Negotiations start Feb 25!” and “40 Hours Should be Enough!”

In Portland, Oregon, carriers showed out to rally for an end to mandatory overtime, full COLAs, 30$/Hour starting wage, and six years to top pay!

The folks pictured are wearing buttons from their branch’s button campaign. Judging by the umbrellas, the weather didn’t cooperate, but carriers in the Pacific North West are no stranger to the rain!

Fewer Bosses, Fairer Wages!

Carriers and their families rally outside of the main post office for a fair contract!
